About
My blog has been online
for some time now,
so I will make
a kind of a
statement.
My name is Mikołaj Świdziński, for the time being I live in Nuremberg, I work as a Software Configuration Manager - hence my bitching about software development.
I put half of my face in order to conserve bandwidth. The both halves are quite similar so the other can be safely omitted :-)
Well, that’s not exactly the point. I resolved to have my blog follow certain
rules:
- I won’t write about politics - I checked the politicalcompass.org, found the small space on the compass where my opinions tend to live and don’t really need to squeeze anybody into that space (on asecond thought this statement itself is rather revealing)
- I won’t write about my workplace - if I have something to write about software, it won’t be rants about my colleagues, bosses, etc.
- I won’t compromise my family’s privacy - I have a wife and a little daughter, I don’t own them nor do I own their privacy
- I won’t be making any autovivisection - I believe I’m sane (-ish) and don’t feel an urge to spill my emotional droppings online
- I won’t swear here (and try not to use the nastier TLAs either)
- I won’t write about skeletons in the closet
These “won’ts” more or less make up for the other half of my face which I would like to keep to myself. Oh, and there won’t be any duplicity on these pages - I value integrity, and I attest that the other half is similar indeed.
