The last time I have seen goat meat a couple of months ago, I decided to go buy it the next day, but by that time it was already gone. So now as I have seen it yesterday, I instantly bought a nice cut. Not cheap - a kilogram of a leg has a similar cost to veal sirloin. But it was worth every penny!
Since I have never tasted it before, I made it simple: rubbed it with salt, pepper & fresh thyme and for 45 mins in the oven with a bit of broth, so that it doesn’t dry. In the meantime, I added some butter to the remaining rub mixture and put it on the roast.
One thing I must say: Wow! The goat meat is way under-advertized, it’s deeelicious.
